We are excited to be rolling out a new system for distributing rewards, including from voting on the 3 servers listed on the left side of our home page. Many of you have seen the chests at Survival Spawn with the “Coming Soon…” text — that is the location where you will redeem the rewards.
Once this new system is enabled, when you vote on a server, you will receive a key. To collect a reward, right click one of the chests in front of the Rewards banner in Survival spawn, then left click the icon for the given key to redeem it. Be sure you have room in your inventory before doing this. The key will be used and you will receive a random reward. There are 5 keys: Stone, Iron, Gold, Diamond, and Emerald, and the reward items get better / more desirable in that order.
For now you can only redeem rewards in Survival. We will later add reward chests to Skyblock, so if you want to save any earned keys until the Skyblock rewards are ready, do so by simply not redeeming any earned keys at this time. The items awarded in Skyblock will be similar, but not identical to those awarded in Survival.
Along with the new Reward system, we have a new Achievement system in the final stages of testing. The Achievement system keeps track of activities you perform in Survival, like breaking blocks, crafting blocks, placing blocks, fishing, riding a horse, and more. When you have achieved a certain threshold (for example, plant 100 saplings) you receive a key, which can be redeemed at the reward chests at Survival spawn (and later Skyblock spawn).
