Update: Adjustments to HC3: Uncharted Seasons!

Hello Lost Adventurers!

Since the launch of Uncharted Seasons nearly 2 weeks ago, nearly 3.5 years have passed and we’ve endured the cold nights of winter, and those Aussie summer days. You’ve seen many events occur. Some good, and some not so good. (where was everyone hiding for the Extreme Weather Events?)

During this time we’ve been closely monitoring your feedback and monitoring gameplay experiences. We understand that the Dynamic Difficulty has been a bit too challenging/harsh for many of you. To ensure a more enjoyable and balanced experience, we’ve made some adjustments:

Changes to Dynamic Difficulty

  • Reduced Mob Strength: We’ve toned down the strength of mobs at higher difficulty levels. This means you’ll face less powerful enemies as you progress, making survival a bit more manageable.
  • Slower Difficulty Scaling: The rate at which the difficulty increases as you gain Affinity Points has been slowed down. This gives you more time to adapt and prepare for tougher challenges.
  • Level Reduction: For those that have levelled up, your Affinity Points has not changed, but you may have dropped a level or 2. For those that were on a higher, you’ll notice a slightly easier experience.

Scoring System Update

In addition to these changes, you may have noticed that we’ve made a slight change to the Discord death notification. It now shows your Hardcore Score, and your Affinity Level that you achieved.

We hope these adjustments make your adventures in Uncharted Seasons more enjoyable. As always, we appreciate your feedback and encourage you to share your thoughts with us.
