Basic Chat Commands #
/msg <player> (message) | Send a private message to player |
/msg <player> | Toggle a private message conversation with another player |
/r (message) | Reply to last whisper / msg you received or sent |
/whisper or /w | Alternative to /msg |
/tell or /t | Alternative to /msg |
/colour or /color | See colour codes available in chat and signs (requires Colour My World donation pack) |
/hug <player> | Gives somebody a hug |
/high5 <player> or /h5 | Gives somebody a high 5 |
Private Messaging #
You can persist PMs by /msg (no message)
This will remain until you redo the /msg (no message) command.
Known Issues #
When you /r another player, and changing worlds, the link ot the player is lost. Redo the /msg
Chat Channels #
/channel | View the list of available chat channels |
/channel join (channel) | Join a chat channel to message in it |
/channel join Global | Leave a chat channel and join the Global server channel |
/channel leave (channel) | Leave a specific chat channel without joining the Global chat. You can also use this to disable receiving messages from a channel |
!(message) | Redirect your message to global chat instead of your current chat channel |
Along with the global chat channel, there are 4 other separate chat channels that are available.
These are:
/chat games
/chat hardcore
/chat roleplay
/chat survival
These commands are toggles to join and leave each channel.
To chat globally again, you can either toggle the channel you are in or use ! at the beginning of your message.
The use of /chat global can also be used, but will keep you in your previous channel in read mode.
You cannot leave the global chat channel, so you will always see global chat in game.
