Getting your Schematic #
So you’re interested in getting a copy of your awesome build from AddstarMC? To ensure we get what you really want, we need to gather some information from you. But first, to get an idea of plot sizes:
- Standard Creative Plot = 80 x 80 blocks
- 2 joined Creative Plots = 167 x 80 blocks
- SkyBlock = 186 x 186 blocks
To get the ball rolling, there are 2 ways to initiate the request.
If you know exactly what you are after: #
- Head to the Store Page and select Schematics, then choose the correct category your schematic falls within.
- When this goes through, raise a Support Request Form, and ensure you provide as much detail as possible. ie The World your build is in, the coordinates, and any other relevant information. Providing an in-game ticket at the exact location will also aid staff to get the right location. (ensure to put the Ticket number in the Support Request Form) All further correspondence will primarily be through the Support Request Form.
- Once we have enough information, Admin Staff will obtain the schematic and upload to the Support Request Form, and you will receive a notification.
- You will then be able to download the schematic from the Support Request Form.
If you require help to determine the size or any other questions relating to Schematics: #
- Raise a Support Request Form and detail your query.
- If you are happy to proceed, head to the Store Page and select Schematics, then choose the correct category your schematic falls within.
- Any further correspondence will remain through the Support Request Form.
- Once we have enough information, Admin Staff will obtain the schematic and upload to the Support Request Form, and you will receive a notification.
- You will then be able to download the schematic from the Support Request Form.
Import Schematics #
So you have a Schematic File, and you now want to import it into your own Single Player world.
There are several ways to do this. But we recommend WorldEdit.
WorldEdit is an easy-to-use in-game world editor for Minecraft, supporting both single player and multiplayer. The link below takes you to the official website where they have a very detailed Wiki, and links to download the version you need. https://wiki.sk89q.com/wiki/WorldEdit
Once installed, and you have a schematic that you’d like to import into your own world, then its basically follow these steps:
- Ensure your Schematic is placed into the AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\config\worldedit\schematics\ folder
- Open the World that you’d like the Schematic placed.
Note: By default, Schematic saves are copied 2 blocks from the front left.
- At the location you would like your Schematic, type in //schem load <filename>
- Based on default, stand 2 blocks back from where you would like your Schematic placed, and type //paste
- If placement isn’t quite to your liking, type //undo then repeat the last step.
There are several other ways to import Schematics into your Worlds. MCEdit is another popular choice, but is an out-of-game editor. More information can be found at http://www.mcedit.net/
